Governor Denny Tamaki asks the LDP Research Committee for a place for his Okinawa promotion ‘Diet strategy’. (19my23)
Splendor of Okinawa: Shrimp plant, 17my23 (TOKYO) Governor Denny Tamaki visited Tokyo on 18 May to attend the Okinawa Promotion Research Committee (chaired by Yuko Obuchi) held at the Liberal Democratic (LDP) Headquarters. The governor requested that his Okinawa promotion ‘Diet strategy’ be placed in the framework plan, which will become the guideline for 2024 budget formulation and administration policy. He had previously requested assistance for the 6th Okinawa Promotion Plan that the Prefecture had formulated for 2022. Regarding his request on the framework plan, in response to reporters after attending the Research Committee, Governor Tamaki clarified the content of his request, “I would like to get their firm grasp of our principles, with clarity on our Diet strategy.” The Prefecture had requested the establishment of a National Natural History Museum as assistance for its ‘New Okinawa 21st Century Vision Basic Plan’ put in motion in May of 2022 for the pivotal 50th anniversary of...
